1994 - Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande  Bordeaux Blend

This wine showed a great color of purple and an even better and very exotic aroma of Asian spice, vanilla, smoke, and currant.
There was a great full and thickness to it as well as a nice long finish.

1995 - Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande  Bordeaux Blend

This is yet one more beautiful wine the color is so nice it is a sexy black and red with some purple.

The flavors are full and abundant with hits of coffee, cherry, and my favorite chocolate. This wine was smooth.

1996 - Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande  Bordeaux Blend

What I remember of this wine is that it is a very nice wine and it is a good balanced blend. It is Sweet and nice in the mouth with a balance of fun and elegance.

1997 - Giscours  Bordeaux Blend

This wine has some nice flavor to it and an ok aroma it is kind of weak. What dose come out is spicy wood, currants, and herbs. This wine might be nice with some pasta and a nice salad.

1998 - Giscours  Bordeaux Blend

This wine is ok. It has a kind of boarding flavor to it. Don't get me wrong it's not bad, it’s just boarding. It is balanced and has a nice texture.

1999 - Giscours  Bordeaux Blend

The dinner bell rang and I came running in from outside. I felt like I was a kid again. I come running into the kitchen and saw my mom there cooking .The smell of meatloaf filled the house and made it feel even more like I just stepped in to a time warp and went back to when I was about 10 years old..

Let me explain. My mom came over and she insisted that she cook dinner for all of us. I was tired so I agreed. She hurried me outside just like when I was a kid.

We have this cool bell that we ring when dinner is ready it's been in my family for over 50 years.

It's a tradition. So when she rang that bell it reminded me of when I was young and she would ring it all the time.

We sat down to eat and we shared some wine that was VERY good and a conversation that was even better.

2000 - Giscours  Bordeaux Blend

The day was 8-1-2003. I remember it very clearly. It was the first day of school for me. I was going back to school to get my master degree in environmental studies.

When I got home I needed a drink. :-) and am I ever glad I chose this wine it had such a nice texture and the perfect full body needed to make feel like I was having a real drink and just a glass of wine. If I was to make the call I would say this wine was beefy.

I’m not sure if that’s a real term used to describe wine. If it’s not it should be. What I mean by beefy is that this wine felt like it could hold its own.

Good wine cheap but you would never tell that by its flavor. It's nice to know that you don't have to pay allot of money for good quality wine.

1997 - Chateau Gloria St. Julien Bordeaux Blend

I'm moving on from this wine I have had 2 bad experiences to many.

1997 - Brane-Cantenac  Bordeaux Blend

The difference between this wine and perfection is little to none. This was my good friend Dorothy’s way of saying she liked it. I told her you are such a drama queen. She said no really this wine is all most perfect.

Neither one of us being wine critics I said I'll have to try it on my own. She I said oh I happen to have a bottle we could try. If you want to. I laughed. This was a set up huh? She just smiled and opened the wine.

She was right. This wine has it all from good aromas to color, texture and flavor.

1995 - Ausone  Bordeaux Blend

The other day was "One of those days." you know the kind of day that you wish you would have just stayed in bed and let it pass you by. But of course this day was the day I had a big meeting and a deadline to reach.

Needless to say everything went wrong. But when I got Home my husband looked at me and I guess it was showing on my face he said "sweetie you sit down and I'll get you a nice glass of wine.

When he came back I had almost fallen asleep. He handed me a glass of wine the was so smooth and relaxing. I felt the day just melt away and after one more glass I fell right asleep.

1994 - Angelus  Bordeaux Blend

not the best not the worst.

When I went on vacation there severed us this wine. It was good not my favorite but it was ok.

2001 - Leoville-Las Cases  Bordeaux Blend

Let me set the scene for you. The time is around sunset, on the beach in southern California in July. With a very light breeze, a blanket, me and my husband two glasses and a nice bottle of 2001 Leoville-las cases Bordeaux with its sweet fragrances of cherry and vanilla and it's beautiful color of purple and red. This medium bodied wine went smooth with this night that was just like something out of a romance novel. For that reason it gets 5 stars from me.

2002 - Pape Clement  Bordeaux Blend

We went camping and my friend brought a bottle of wine. Well that was fine. But what he failed to bring was a cooler. So we had this wine warm.

Not something I recommend. I’m sure this wine is a good wine just not warm. YUCK!!

1996 - Pape Clement  Bordeaux Blend

This wine is strong this was very fitting for this wine.
I could smell some Herb, and some sweet fruit.

My friend said he smelt some tobacco. But I think he is wrong. :)

2002 - Gruaud Larose  Bordeaux Blend

I have a soft spot for this wine so my review of this wine is not based on the wine it self but more what I feel about this wine, In word Awesome.
Scents spices, and a dark coloring. It had a nice sweetness to it, and it almost had a full bodied to it.

1986 - Chateau Suduiraut  Sauternes Blend

This blend has a nice flavor to it. It goes very good with cheese. There is a honey and pineapple and fruit and coconut to the flavor. This wine is very good.

1989 - Rieussec  Sauternes Blend

I had this wine with a nice light fish dish.
This might seem a bit odd but I think I could smell apple pie, and almost a crème brulee smell. I know sound odd but that’s what I thought I smelled. It also has a nice yellow color and a strong and sweet taste with a full body.

1998 - Montrose  Bordeaux Blend

I like this wine cause I could really see one of my favorite colors in it... Purple. I know that’s a odd reason to like wine. But I really do like purple. In fact my friend got me this wine because she knew that I would like the color.  I also really like the sweet smells of licorice and earth.
