1997 - Leoville-Poyferre  Bordeaux Blend

This wine reminded me of a field of flowers.

It was a very elegant glass red wine 
with awesome flavors and wonderful aromas.

I recomend you drink it at sunset.

1999 - Chateau Lafite-Rothschild Carruades de Lafite Bordeaux Blend

When I got my glass I was so thirsty I drank it rather quick but I did notice that it quenched my thirst better than I thought it would.

1991 - Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande  Bordeaux Blend

This wine has a very deep color of red and purple to it. It also has a sweet nose to it of chocolate, Fruit, cedar and black currants. This might seem a bit odd to some of you but I don't like the long finish on this wine.

1993 - Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande  Bordeaux Blend

There is some wines that can be drank, there are other wines that can be sipped and there still other that must be savored. This wine falls in the later of the 3. When you drink this wine take your time.

I did get a chance to taste this wine. This is a tragic story. There were four of us and we each got one glass of this to taste. Well I decided I would let mine sit for a while before drinking it.

As Murphy’s Law would have it as soon as everyone has finished their wine I reach for mine and it spills. So I didn't get to drink it. But on the good side I got a really good look at its coloring.

This wine was a let down. I was expecting more from Bordeaux then I got. :(

1995 - Lascombes  Bordeaux Blend

This wine got a low ratting but with it's
sweet and medium body. This
mid weight wine is not
bad. There is a light
red color it.

1996 - Lascombes  Bordeaux Blend

This Bordeaux has a brilliant gem like red coloring to it. It lacks depth and nice short finish. Very strong aromas of herbs, black currants and oak. this wine is a bit sweet.

1999 - Beaucastel, Chateau Chateauneuf du Pape Proprietary Blend

This wine lacked structure and had a full body.

Scents of truffles, black berries, and cassis.

The lack of structure is a turn off. But the full body makes up for that.

2000 - Beaucastel, Chateau Chateauneuf du Pape Proprietary Blend

This has a red and purple color that is great. There is a very sweet aroma to it.
With hints of licorice, blackberries, and cassis.
Full bodied and sweet.

2001 - Beaucastel, Chateau Chateauneuf du Pape Proprietary Blend

This wine is almost black in its coloring. There is a red and purple to the coloring as well.

The aromas in this full bodied wine are nice. there is an almost roasted smoky aroma followed by truffles, cherry, and Herbs.

1997 - Beaucastel, Chateau Chateauneuf du Pape Proprietary Blend

Deep color of red,

The aroma jumps right out of the glass fruit dominates this wine.

This Riesling has a good aroma of honey, tropical fruit. It has a nice medium body. Very pure fruit.  Low alcohol. This is a well rounded wine.

Nice golden color and a great price.

Aromas of :  Honeysuckle and Fruit.

Good with fruit.

1999 - Mount Horrocks Riesling Cordon Cut Riesling

I like this. It has a light body, and a almost tropical aroma of honey and fruit. It is very refreshing, and has a nice purity to it.
