The '00 Altesino Brunello di Montalcino was acutally a bit tough to figure out. We spent a few hours just trying to pin down what were some of the aromoas were were tasting, but once we got that nailed down, it was very enjoyable. It has
gorgeous aromas of raspberry, flowers and mineral follow through to a
silky palate; SMOOTH.

| This is pretty consistent with most of the Thomas Fogarty that we have tasted, it's medium straw color; very good to excellent ripe
peach aroma, very good
fruit concentration; full bodied; dry, medium acidity, good balance; attractive guava-like
flavors with a shaving of American oak, medium depth; medium finish,
textured aftertaste. |

| This is not extremely special, but it's good value. It's deep ruby in color, very ripe fruit aromas with a hint of sweet oak; medium-bodied, fairly complex palate, with moderate tannin,
dry, good acidity; medium finish, nice and perky
aftertaste. |

| Extreme strong presence, ruby red in
color. Full bodied fused with hits of cherry and berry flavor. Farily complex, very very interesting aftertaste, great with a piece of high quality steak. |

| Immediately drinkable for
the soft purity of the tannins and complex cassis, chocolate and oak
flavors, it has the sturdy structure to develop for some years, but is
best now for its elegant purity. Blueberry
and black currant flavor. The wine's power lies in its tannin, this
needs cellar time to mellow. |

| One of the best California blends on the market. Full-bodied, execellent texture as soon as it enters the mouth, powerful but smooth delivery, great fruit flavors. Would recommend to everyone. |
