1997 - Trotanoy  Bordeaux Blend

It was about mid day and my phone rang. I picked up and said "Hello how may I help you?" This very sexy women (my wife) said “Hay there handsome I got a surprise for you. I said “yeah what is it?" She said '"You'll have to wait until after work."I said that’s another 3 hours." She said "I know." I said "You tease." We hung up the phone and I went around all day wondering what in the world is she planning.

Finally the quitting whistle blew and it was time to go home. I got in my car and drove home on the way home I get this call on my cell phone. It was my wife. She said “Hi honey, Meet me at jimmies ok don't come to the house just meet me at the restaurant. “
I said "ok"
Well to sum this all up my wife had planned a great night an awesome dinner we drank this wine, and when we got home she had baked an awesome pie. It was great and so much fun.

2001 - Trotanoy  Bordeaux Blend

My wife and I went out hiking the other weekend. Well not really a hike more like a long walk in this park close by our house. But there was a hill we had to climb. ;-)

Any how we had packed a nice lunch and we decided to bring a bottle of this wine. I know not exactly what you would call an appropriate way to enjoy this wine. But it was still good even if the setting was a bit unusual the wine still tasted good.

1996 - Pichon-Longueville Baron  Bordeaux Blend

It was a long day at work and when I got home it was late and all I wanted was to go to bed. This was like something out of a dream I when I came home my wife was waiting with dinner. I eat and she poured me a glass of wine. It was so nice it had a great purple red color to it and the aromas where awesome. I could smell coffee, leather cassis and tobacco. In the finish of this wine I could taste chocolate.

1998 - Phelps, Joseph Insignia Proprietary Red Wine Proprietary Blend

A well put together wine with excellent colors of red and purple. the body is full. Pure. Yet it is soft on the ending.


The scents: Licorice, Smoke, Cedar, Cassis.

2000 - Chateau Gloria St. Julien Bordeaux Blend

This wine would be a great accent to a nice steak and some potatoes. There is nothing simple to this Bordeaux. It is fruity. It has a nice aroma to it sweet, herb, spice box, cassis, cedar.

2000 - Duhart-Milon-Rothschild  Bordeaux Blend

This Bordeaux is good. The color is nice. The body is medium almost full. Scents are nice a bit of lead pencil, and wet stones.

1994 - Phelps, Joseph Insignia Proprietary Red Wine Proprietary Blend

This Bordeaux is sexy, full bodied, and full of character.

The scents of spices, burnt wood, black currants and soy are great.

1995 - Phelps, Joseph Insignia Proprietary Red Wine Proprietary Blend

Scents of smoke, cake, cassis and cedar are mix in with herbs and coffee for a well rounded scent.

1996 - Phelps, Joseph Insignia Proprietary Red Wine Proprietary Blend

Full bodied wine long on the finish.
Smells of fruit, coffee, cake, and cedar.
Dark purple.

1997 - Phelps, Joseph Insignia Proprietary Red Wine Proprietary Blend

The color of this wine is so well balanced and full with colors of purple and blue.

There is a smell of jam. some kind of black fruit jam. and there is a spiciness to the smell an almost aisain spice smell and licorice.

1997 - Pavie-Decesse  Bordeaux Blend

Dark red coloring with purple.
Aromas of black raspberry and cherries.

Medium almost a full body to it.

EXCELLANT WINE!!!

This Bordeaux dances across the scenes like a skilled dancer. With a fragrance that had some much verity it would satisfy just about anyone. There is a thickness to this Bordeaux that is nice and full. This wine is structured well with a full body and a long finish it was satisfying and sweet.

2001 - Cos d'Estournel  Bordeaux Blend

There is a color to this wine that makes it a work of art. It's inky red and purple colors are complimented well by the aromas of spice box, Sweet fruit, Black currants, licorice,, toast and a hint of truffles’.

It is very textured with a medium body, nice balance and long finish.
