There is allot of things I could say about this wine. First it had a strong aroma. Its coloring was beautiful and dark with red and a hint of purple. There was some currants and an almost a smokiness.

There is a nice color to it that makes this wine all around balanced. With a great black fruit flavor and aromas and at $30 this wine is well worth it.

When we went out to dinner I'll be honest I didn't want any wine. But my wife talked me into it she said "A nice glass of wine well do good for your nerves." She was right it did. This wine was very light and it hit the spot. This wine is very good. It has a medium body to it and it is very ripe tasting.

2000 - Chateau Lafite-Rothschild Carruades de Lafite Bordeaux Blend

Good Wine a little  sweet and with a nice finish and some of the best aromas of cherry and cassis.

2001 - Chateau Lafite-Rothschild Carruades de Lafite Bordeaux Blend

My wife Likes this wine allot she drinks it allot. I have never tried it until the other day and for a good reason. I didn't like.

2002 - Chateau Lafite-Rothschild Carruades de Lafite Bordeaux Blend

This was odd. My wife poured me a glass of this wine at dinner the other night. I took a sip and told her “You know I don't like the 2001. Why did you pour me a glass of it?" She said "I didn't this is the 2002." I said "No I think you grabbed the wrong bottle." She said. "No I did not. Here look!" I grabbed the bottle and looked at it and sure enough it was the 2002. Boy to me this was just as bad as the "01."

1995 - Leoville-Poyferre  Bordeaux Blend

It was about 2pm on a Saturday and the phone rang. It was my daughter. She called to see what we where up to and to see if we would join her for dinner and some wine. I told her "sure what time is dinner?" She Said "About 6pm." I said "I'll see you then." The day went by quick and finally it was time to go to dinner.
We had dinner and she brought out some wine.
It was a bottle of 1995 Leoville Poyferre Bordeauxe. She poured it in our glasses and I could not help but notice the color was a nice purple. Also so I couldn't help but notice the smells of berries, and currants. I also couldn't help but notice the flavors of cassis and berries.
So I guess in summery this is a wine that you will notice.

1990 - Coutet  Sauternes Blend

My wife and I are not wine critics but we both like wine. She really enjoyed this wine. I thought it was just ok. It had a nice full body that I liked. The Aromas where ok Spicy, Oaky, Honey, Citrus, Flowers and Citrus

We enjoyed this wine just the two of us one night at a sunset. It was something out a movie it was so perfect and so was this wine.

This Bordeaux is a excellent Blend. With an exceptional bouquet. a medium body, a wonderful texture and amazing finish.

This wine was just the icing on the cake that we needed to help  complete this wonderful night.

1999 - Montrose  Bordeaux Blend

My friend like this wine allot. I mean a hole lot. So I thought I would try it and you know what he was right. This is a nice wine with deep, Dark black and purple color. Scents of, smoke, black fruits, minerals. It is a powerful wine with a medium body.

1990 - Penfolds Grange Syrah

This wine was kind of tart but good. I liked it. My wife on the other hand well lets just say she didn't like it as much in fact she didn't like it at all.

I just noticed that I was one of the only people reviewing wines that doesn’t give much info on the wine so here it goes.

Dark purple color, smells of berry and cherry. Full bodied and thick.
