O.K., I may be totally off base here, but here are the events leading to my idea.  I am traveling from Fort Bragg, NC to Fort Lewis,WA in the near future.  Yes I am a Soldier and recently got back from the sand box, as is stated a review.  My profile reads Clinton WA because that is my permanent address.

Now for the idea:  If you like wine, I have a small collection I will be traveling with, less than 40 bottles all French reds. I HATE road food and love home cooking or having kitchen privleges.  Cooking is my passion and stress release.  I also prefer not to drink alone...so opening a bottle in a hotel might not be the best experience.  Unless it's a 61 Ausone.

I would also like to ask that you have room for me to park a moving truck with a car trailer where I can roll out my sleeping bag in the cab of the truck before I continue my journey.  This way I do not have hotel expenses, road food for dinner, and get to network with fellow wine lovers.

You provide the groceries, kitchen, cork screw, decantor, glasses, driveway/parking space.  I provide the wine, cooking, and if we click that one night, will open my house to you if you visit the pacific north west.  Please do not be offended if I do not say goodbye before you rise in the a.m.  I average a few hours sleep and want to return to my children as soon as possible.

For everyone out there, if you think I'm "smoking crack" or think this might have some value in this forum, go ahead and post.  Bust or good experience, I plan to post any outcome by May.
