I have question that might be fun to see what all of you answer. Why do you think red wine better than white?

I find the red fruit flavors more appealing, personally. I find them to be more complex and intriguing.

I find most whites flat, 'tinny', or too citrusy for my palate. On the white dessert side, I LOVE them! As table wines go, a Sauvignon Blanc that has more peach and pear flavors would be great. I find several with that nose, but the palate is filled with the tart citrus.

And red is waaaaaaay better than white, so there! :+P

We just had a great sunny weekend in San Francisco. For those Sunday afternoons in the sun, few things beat a Rose!

well if you say that you OBVIOUSLY havn;t had the Robert Mondavi Fume Blac, I found this neat stuff called private cellar, comes in an empty (feeling) can and is full of a gass you spray into the wine bottle to keep your wine fresh.

My wine never lasts that long but If it dose I will take notes on the way it tastes before and after being gassed like a third grade class of curdish students under sadams rule..

I used to think white wine sucked until I had a White Burgundy.  Now I appreciate most well made wines served at the right temp & proper conditions.  I  Recently had Chateau St Jean's recent release of their Fume Blanc.  While I can appreciate a glass alone.  I can enjoy an entire bottle when accompanied by some melon & other fruit.  My suggsetion is to go buy a Domaine Leflaive Montrachet & then add to this article.

As the French say "White wine is for brushing your teeth." Actually I really enjoy many white wines. Recently had a HUG SB from Paso Robles and a Lincourt from St Barbara area. Both outstanding.
