My wife and I had the pleasure of trying this wine at a wine party. Before this I had never involved myself with the pleasures of premire California Cabernet. This was was full of flavor. Although it was excellent with food, I could have enjoyed this wine on its own for it's complexity. The body was full and rich. The berry fruit was intense in this wine. This wine was outstanding.

| Jumped out of the glass with cassis, berries and chocolate. Not extremely complex, but hey this is no small production here. Sweet and rich on the mid-palate with a pleasant soft finish. 2003s are definately showing their all pretty early. |

| This wine has aged beautifully. I was lucky enough to be around when my friend pop'd this open for his daughters graduation. It was one of the silkiest wines I have ever tasted! The fruit was so alive and integrated so well with the cedar oak flavors. The alochol was hidden in the wine, and it was just awesome to drink a wine 16 years old that had aged so well. |
