The 2000 has a dark purple color to it. Aromas of Sweet crème de cassias are strong. With a hint of earth. This is a strong full bodied wine.

Tried several 2 bottles so far. No disappointment. Will definitely be better in 2-3 years. Make sure to decant in a decanter for 2-3 hours.

Cedar, graphite, heavy dark fruit. Dark fruit nearly overpowers rest of nose. Great
mouthfeel. Impeccable balance. Though wine is very young, everything is in place.
Enjoyable now. Medium to long finish. Strong black fruit. Mouth coating. Should be
extraordinary.

At first whiff, very California like. Loads of black fruit showing on the nose, heavy black cherries on the palate, mixed in with light pine cone and mint. Most fruit forward wine of the night. Wine was splash decanted and put back in bottle 24 hours before tasting.
