Moet Chandon Dom Perignon Champagne Blend 1992
Not the Bread Yeast over tones of the 2000 vintage

The botlle was drank over a period of 1 month.  Still below my favorite vintage of 1968, but very enjoyable.  Crisp, semi-dry, and faultless.  I may be a wine lover, but believe in moderation.

Cheers all

Not Dom's Best
Score: 89 points
Drink by: 3 to 7 years
Sampled 2/14/05. This Dom has more bite to it than any other vintage I have ever had. Dom is generally known for its soft and elegant style, whereas Krug is the big bold monster. The extra punch in this Dom, however, does not come through with sophistication of Krug. I think it is because the sugar and acid balance is off with a bit too much acid. The wine did get better after it was open longer, but it nevery got past being too austere. This wine, however, should soften over the next few years and it should be more approachable then. I`ll keep a few bottles around to see whether it will turn into a 90+ wine in time.
