Tried this on a whim at the recommendation of the proprietor of Davidson's Liquors in Denver. He raved about it. Quite good. Not your typical grenache. It was strong, spicy, fruit-forward, and very drinkable. The high alcohol content gives it a nose that makes you think it is a spirit, rather than a wine. It reminded me of a big zin, actually. If you can find it, buy it. It should be between $12-$15 a bottle.
