The 2005 Cantiana Rotaliana Teroldego is less on the rustic Italian side and more on the frisky, tart, refreshing side. A deep red with a dark pink rim, the wine is light in the mouth and smooth to drink with flavors of blackerry and grape skin.  Higher in acid than alcohol, this wine stood up to a homemade pancetta and fried sage pizza.
