I have always made fun of the description given to windes: Apricots, melons, molasses, boysenberry, oak, currant...and of course "pepper". Well I tasted this beauty saturday night with some stilton, crackers and olives and WOWZER...there was a MOUTH full of pepper...not too hot but tingly all over and what a fabulous aftertaste..the cheese was so much tastier with the wine...the vineyard is out of 2003 but I found a case in Oregon for delivery to Virginia. I am hooked on the Anderson Ranch vineyard for Quivira.
