The 2005 vintage of this wine was an unbelievable surprise! the QPR on this wine knocked me on my rear! The 06 was good but it was lacking the punch the 2005 brought to the table.
Dark fruit, good tannins, not too chewy, covers your palate and lasts for a good while too. However, the balance is slightly off and even though you don't taste it right off the back - the alcohol hits you on the back end. This wine is still worth seeking out, but I hope it gets back to the 05 quality.
