This wine drinks like a classic St. Estephe. It begins lean and somewhat austere with substantial mineral notes. Its structure is apparent right out of the bottle, but the mid-palate is quite hollow. After about an hour and a half of decanting, though, the fruit begins to come alive and flesh out the structure. All of the things we like about Bordeaux varietals are there - cassis, red and black fruits, etc. - not in a big way, but well balanced.

EXCELLANT WINE!!! This Bordeaux dances across the scenes like a skilled dancer. With a fragrance that had some much verity it would satisfy just about anyone. There is a thickness to this Bordeaux that is nice and full. This wine is structured well with a full body and a long finish it was satisfying and sweet.
