Tannins quite evident. Needs some cellar time, but quite drinkable now. Excellent value at about $20/bottle.

2001 - Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon

10 years of aging smoothed this one out beautifully. Perfectly balanced. Drank this bottle at dinner (Filet with foie gras and truffle sauce) along with 5 other solid bottles of Napa Cab, including Stags Leap Artemis 07, Nickel & Nickel 05, and Silver Oak 07. The 01 Caymus stole the show. Was tough to go back to the others after this. Glad I have a couple more.
