Dark and extracted. I'm wondering if this was finished in a sherry cask, because the nose had this sherry note to it. It also had black cherry, warm dirt and vanilla. In the mouth, a monster. Spicy and quite tight. If you're buying a bottle or two, keep your hands off it for 8-10 years.
Dark brick red color. Stewed fruit, moldy cheese, and this minty/earthiness in the nose. Full bodied, spicy and intense. Lots of fruit with this wine. Heck of a wine.
