2006 - Santa Carolina Sauvignon Blanc Reserva

This was as bad as the 2005 and it just goes to show that this producer cannot make sav blanc or isn't trying very hard. Metallic taste really kills everything else, but there are some oak chips and butter spray in there as well. PASS!

2005 - Santa Carolina Sauvignon Blanc Reserva

Big Pass. I'm a huge fan of sauvignon blanc, but found this undrinkable. Strong petrol odors (not in a good way) and bitter taste left me no choice but to pour it down the sink and apologize to the local water treatment facility. Yeah it's like that.
