The botlle was drank over a period of 1 month.  Still below my favorite vintage of 1968, but very enjoyable.  Crisp, semi-dry, and faultless.  I may be a wine lover, but believe in moderation.

Cheers all

With my previous dissapointments with younger vintages, I decided on this one even though it showed some sepage, but fill at base of neck.  Knew I might be in trouble after the capsule was challenging, but cleaned it up and attempted cork removal.  The cork fell apart, so after gaining access to contents I drianed into a coffee filter to fill a caraf.  Could not wait for my first taste to see if the wine was corked.

WOW!!!  Nice, mild, with a long finish. Wish I had a case.  Now I wonder what  it will be like in an hour or so after possibly opening up more.

Very nice, a bit mild but it was a Pomerol.  Young but very dinkable.  I would recommend for those weary of the Frech Reds as a stepping stone to the classic Bordeaux right bank Grand Cru.  Cheers all!!!

Might as well had a sparkling white from outside the champagne region, but had a great experience earlier and forgot the vintage year.  Used to celebrate my return from Iraq, and found at a reasonable price, so not too dissapointed.  In retrospect, should have had a Pannier extra brut that won the silver.  Chears all!!!

What can I say...  With my lack of being able to drink wine for over a year at first I was dissappointed.  Regarded it as a "'vin de table" at first experience, but as a  young Bordeaux Red gave most of the botle a second chance the next day.  Still sharp but more enjoyable the next day.  It is my hope my other bottles will age well, but will revisit in 5-10 years.  Tanins show it will keep and hopefully open up over the next decade.  Cheers all!!!
