This is a very good pinot. I do not concider a pinot to be a favorite wine. This Is a thicker smokey pinot that I look for when I think that I need a pinot for a change. Usually I don't care for most pinot as they seem to be washed out or week. This is that exception. There are other Pinot from the Roseburg Oregon that are also thisk and smokey. There are some California Pinots that are also good thick Pinots...This is worth a try.

Beware this wine is good...too good an entire bottle can dissappear in no time. This wine is a wine that is a thick, Spicey stand alone wine. Of the many wines I have tasted this is near the top of the list. This I have shared this wine with many people and met with great results. The wine in this bottle will be gone before you know it and you'll want more.

Another winner from Washington State. This wine was one of the best I have ever tasted. The wine is still full flavored and very drinkable. This wine has aged as well as any of this age that I have drank. Celebrate this wine with Ahi Tuna a steak or a prime rib.

This wine I bought to celebrate 25 years with my wife. The wine was good, with a minty berry layered taste. The cork was in good condition and the wine was still drinkable. This was fun to have and as much fun to drink. Heitz wines seem to be well engineered and weathered the years well.

I prefer this wine to the 2003. It seems thicker and richer. I would drink either year and they would both rate very well. This is the quality of wine that I expect from the napa valley. This is also a wine that infrequent wine drinkers enjoy. This is a great gift idea.

Plump Jack is a great wine...The wine is consistant from year to year. This is a wine that I like to have in the cellar. this works well with a good steak or a nice smoked blue cheese from the Rogue creamery in southern Oregon. this is a thick wine with lots of berries smoke and earth.

This is a wine that is a juicey spicey wine that I can enjoy by it self. I have served it with grilled lemon peppered asparagus. The pepper works well with this wine. This wine also goes well with a fine spicey chocolate or pepperjack cheese.

This wine is a great wine . I found this wine on line at the 33.00 dollar mark. I can pour this wine to non wine drinkers and they always enjoy it. This wine can be drank now or put away for a few years. The licorice berry powerhouse is a wine that I have already tracked down and rebought. This is another "GO TO " wine. A very good Napa valley wine at a good price.

This wine was peppery and cherry. It was served with seared blackened ahi tuna. this is a wine that needs some time. The wine does well if decanted for 30-45 minutes minimum. This is as good as some of my favorite Italian food wines. This wine is a wine that i will always to keep in the cellar. I reccomend this wine to friends. I have shared this wine with servers in restaurants and they enjoy this wine very much.

This is a wine that I did not like. The wine was drinkable. the taste was a roasted meat tomatoey taste. this wine was very unusual to me. This vinyard makes some of my favorite wine...This just isn't one of them. I have wondered if I should try it again, maybe it would taste different next time.

I would pair this with blue cheese fig or onion jam and bread. the wine pairs well with the jam and blue cheese. this wine is a wine that is ok and I would drink it again, but maybe I wouldn't seek it out. The flavor of the wine is good not washed out.
