This wine had a texture to it that was not very pleasant. It was well structured. It was good but far from great.

There is a consistant elegance about the Prieure Bordeaux that  I really like. This wine was great with or dinner. It had a nice fruit flaovor and aroma.

It's odd this wine finished with a fruitful but weak finish. There are aromas of fruitcake, cigar box, currants, cherry. It was to sweet for me but it did have a nice full body.

WOW. These Gisours Bordeaux’s are gorges wines. They have a sex appeal to them that makes them had to resist. They are full of flavor and elegance as well as some really awesome aromas.

I liked this wine so much I wrote a poem about here it goes.

As I look upon you with a gaze you lure me into your deep dark colors and all of a sudden your dark purple coat covers me. I'm hooked. With a gentle pull you bring me it you. You tease me with aromas of black berries and licorice. Then there is some spice and a violet that tops it all off. I try my best to hold back. Until I can't resist you anymore I must taste you. So like a gentleman I slowly bring you to my lips and gently I drink you in. At first you did nothing until like a cunning hunter you attacked my palate with a gentle elegant display of your soft and smooth texture. You showed your purity and mature when you ended it all with the elegance and grace of a well seasoned dancer.

There you have that’s my poem abut this wine.

A stunning display of color and aromas filled my glass. This tantalizing and a luring wine drew me in as I began to sip it ever so slowly I couldn't believe what my mouth was experiencing it was as if I flash flood of flavor just burst forth. I completely disagree with any critic who says this wine is less than an 80 rating.

This wine went good with a nice stake. This wine has a nice full body; my wife thought it was more medium body. I got the aromas of smoke, plum, Spice box and my wife got those but she was able to pull out cedar, blueberry and raspberry.

We both agreed that this wine is nicely layered to it.

This wine to me has a bit of story behind it. It was the first one we put in our new wine cellar. It is the first Bordeaux I ever tried and it was the first wine we drank out of our new cellar.

So before I even opened the bottle I had an affinity for this wine. But all personal stuff aside, this wine has a wonderful aroma with spice, blackberry, and charcoal. Also the coloring is so nice it is a dark red and purple color that fills the glass and a excellent finish.

Complex. That’s the best way I can think of describing this wine. Complex and full of character. What I mean when I say complex is that it has a lot to it as far as flavor, and aromas. We had lunch the other day and I ordered this wine. When I got it I took Whiff and got a noise full of wonderful smoky, herb, and cherry. When I took a drink I could help but notice the silky smooth texture and the great Finish. It was so good I had to have a second glass.

This wine is thick and dense in color. But it's the aromas that make this wine great in my book.

Some roasted meats.
Blueberry jammy
Truffles and espresso,
These aromas make up a great menu for the noise.

This Pevie-Maquin Bordeaux has the Beauty of Red and Blue colors painted in to make a blue color but you can still see the red and purple.

The Aroma WOW. It is so nice with berries both black and blue, Cherries, Smoke, vanilla, truffles and vanilla.

Very dense, pure and full bodied.

The aromas of spicy oak, flowers, crushed stone, cherries, licorice, mineral. Make this medium to full bodied Bordeaux elegant and dance across the pallet.
