I had a glass last night after work. I didn't pay much attention to it I just remember thinking. This is a good and relaxing glass of wine.

WOW! This wine was such a find I wanted to try something new so I ask a friend what she thought I should try she suggested the Cheval Blanc Bordeaux blend 97 I was bit hesitant. But I gave in and I am so glad This wine is very cool and smooth. It has confidence about it that makes you like it from the start. the aromas only complement that confidence with sweet oak , plum, cherry liquor and coconut. It has a medium body and richness to it and a texture that is smooth and pleasing to the pallett.

I bought this wine for my wife a gift. We had an opportunity to enjoy it one night when we sent the kids to grammas for the night.

We had some cheese and a nice meal. We had a really nice conversation and a great night. Did you notice I didn't mention the wine much. Well that's because my mom told me." If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all."

This wine was given to me as a gift from my dad shortly before he died. I promised myself I would not open it until a very special day. Well that day came my only daughter’s wedding. This wine was so nice it had an oak scent to it and a full body.

It was nice to share this wine with my wife and my daughter. As we drank the last glass it was as if I was saying good by to my dad and the past and hello to a new feature and this wine was good for celebrating both occasions.

I went out to dinner the other night by myself. I know what a sad day, But it happens. I ordered this wine because the year 1994 is the same year my son was born. I don't know allot about these wines, but this one left me with a satisfied and complete feeling. When I was done with my glass, I had the feeling that I had just finished a glass of art. Sounds odd I know but this wine was so nice on my palette. I really enjoyed this Bordeaux and well order it again next time I go to eat at that restaurant. Hopefully this time not alone.

This wine is un- satisfying.
All around.

There is a firm finish to the Bordeaux.  With scents of licorice, cedar, cherries, espresso, herbs and oak.

Nice texture and a firm.
It has a Great medium body.

This Bordeaux is strong and nice to drink. It is full bodied and has a dark purple to it. The aromas are earth wood and spicy fruit.

The 85 is not bad if you like wines with a weedy cherry aroma and medium bodied. I for one don't.
